Sample weights for the Korea Health Panel Survey were calculated after going through the process of adjusting for unequal selection probabilities and non-responses and making a population distribution disclosure via post-stratification corresponding to the sample distribution.

Given that the Korea Health Panel Survey was administered by household, weights were classified into household member weights and household weights. Cross-sectional and longitudinal weights applied to household members while cross-sectional weights were allocated to households, based on cross-sectional weights for household members for the year, because of frequent inflow and outflow of household members.
