A. The Korea Health Panel Survey is Korea's first healthcare panel survey that is administered annually about health lifestyles as well as healthcare services use and expenditures to the same panel of 7,000~8,000 household members. By linking the survey data with the National Health Insurance Service data, we have established dynamic data that enables tracking on mid-to-long-term healthcare services use and expenditures. The survey data has been made available for public use by eliminating identifiable personal information for privacy and confidentiality purposes.

The total number of enumeration districts was about 350 across nation, with the survey targeting about 8,000 households and their household members.
